Private Lessons

We offer private lessons for riders to grow their skills and improve your horse’s training in a comfortable one-on-one setting. It is a chance to ask a lot of questions, to get a better feel, troubleshoot training issues and accomplish a more direct connection to your horse. As you build your horse’s training it is beneficial to have an educated eye on the ground to relay the information that can fill in the “grey” areas that we all encounter in the training process. For the rider we help improve position, clarify communication, learn the “how..”, and “why..” ,of riding, as well as help build a better commitment and work ethic in our equine partner.

Private lessons also offer you a chance to discuss a training program that you can do at home. All lessons lead a rider to improve their core riding skills and help to establish a program that they can use at home to continue their schooling.

All levels of riders from green as grass to the advanced rider will benefit from a chance to grow under private and semi-private lessons.

Do you wish to learn how to understand a horse’s resistance and how to get a resistance free response to training? Do you want to take the spook out of your horse by just simple riding work? Do you wish to get a more collected canter or build a great stop? Our goal is to give the rider the skills and tools needed to school their own horses!
